The History and Story Behind My Truck Hi. I have had a couple of these year models but when i found this one, (actually my wife found it). I was looking for a truck when my wife told me about a truck in the paper the ad read as is 71 chevrolet truck big block, bucket seats, so i called them. I first thought the ad is wrong up untill now i have only seen one orginal bucket seat truck. When i called him he said it was orginal so i drove down to check it out, and the truck i bought is a factory 402 with 25 options the rarest truck i have ever seen. He gave me the previous owners name and then the DMV gave me the last 4 owners name. But i could not track some of the owners down, i do know the motor is a chevy replacement 71 402! According to the suffix code it does not have the vin number stamped with the suffix code, the only thing i have done is put a good rear end under it.
